Privacy policy

How to Fish Radar is designed to work without an account. The fish, island, and achievement trackers write progress to localStorage in your browser. That information stays on the device unless you copy or share it yourself. Clearing browser data removes it.

URLs and sharing

The next-step solver can place your selected route state in the page URL so a shared link reproduces the result. These parameters describe tool choices, not game-save contents. Share buttons add standard UTM parameters to identify the selected sharing channel.

Hosting and basic logs

When the site is deployed, its hosting provider may process ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent, requested path, and security events to deliver and protect the service.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is enabled by default, including first-party analytics cookies. You can disable it using the analytics settings. When disabled, Google may receive limited cookieless page measurements without creating analytics cookies. Page URLs are sent without query strings. While analytics is enabled, events say a site tool was filtered, checked, or used. Event parameters identify only the tool and generic action; tracker progress, fish names, route choices, contact messages, and form text are not sent. Selecting "Only necessary" denies analytics storage and removes accessible GA cookies. Your choice is stored locally under htf-analytics-consent.

Links to Steam, community guides, and editorial sources are governed by those sites’ privacy practices. Opening them leaves this site.

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not provide account features.
